One of my favorite deserts growing up was Strawberry Pizza Pie.  My mom would always make this cheesecake like desert for all occasions.  As my brother and I have gotten older it is still our favorite desert, and is always requested instead of a birthday cake.  After getting married I quickly introduced April and PJ to this treat, and it quickly became a family favorite.

Once we found out that April had to go Gluten Free, this was one of the hardest treats to give up.  We would go ahead and eat a piece or three knowing that April would pay for it for the next few days, until the gluten was out of her system.

DAJ_2714 A few weeks ago we set out to see if we could recreate the recipe as Gluten Free or Possibly Paleo Friendly.  We quickly found that Paleo Friendly would be out of the question.  So Gluten Free it was.  We were laying out the ingredients to try as a replacement for the flour when April ran across a new Flour Mix in the store.  It was called All Natural Cup 4 Cup Gluten Free Flour.  We have never been happy with any other packaged Gluten Free Flour we have tried, but decided to give it a try before trying to figure out what alternatives to add to get the right flavor and texture.

DAJ_2718The results were amazing.  The only difference is that the crust comes out slightly crunchier than when using regular flour.  This past weekend we tested it out on MawMaw, PawPaw, and Nephew.  Our nephew was not told that it was gluten free, and he could not tell a difference.  It went over very well with MawMaw, and PawPaw.

Now on to the recipe:

1c All Natural Cup 4 Cup Gluten Free Flour
1/2c Powdered Sugar
1 stick Softened Butter

1 (8oz) package Cream Cheese, softened
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/3 c Lemon Juice
2 1/2c strawberries, sliced or 2 1/2c Raspberries


  • Preheat oven to 350 degDAJ_2710
  • Mix together crust ingredients by hand, Press mixture into 12 inch pizza pan
  • Bake in Preheated oven for 15min, until golden brown. Remove and allow to cool
  • In another bowl mix Cream Cheese and Condensed Milk until smooth
  • Slowly mix in Lemon Juice.
  • Spread over cooled crust.
  • Slice Strawberries and mix with sugar, and spoon over slices.
